Boise Civic Trust — Institutional Record

Terms of Use

Effective July 2026. Changes to this page are dated.

These terms cover the use of boisecivictrust.org.

The civic record

  • The map and its records are published for public understanding. Records distinguish verified conditions, ideas under exploration, active projects, completed work, and ongoing stewardship — and each record states its own uncertainty. Do not present an idea from this site as an approved or funded project; the site itself does not.
  • Boise Civic Trust is a nonprofit institution. It is not a government agency, and nothing on this site is an act of governmental authority.

Public submissions

  • Reporting a civic condition grants the Trust permission to review, hold, and — if verified — draw on your report in a published record. Publication never includes your identity without separate permission.
  • Submit only material you have the right to share. Reports that target private individuals, or that are abusive or knowingly false, are declined and may result in a block.

Contributions

  • Contributions are processed by Stripe. A contribution is recorded when the payment processor confirms it, not when a browser page says so.
  • Designated contributions are applied per the disclosure shown at the time of giving. If designated work is completed, over-funded, or cannot proceed, the remainder is applied as the disclosure describes.

Basemap data

Basemap geography derives from City of Boise open data and from OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL). Civic records and their overlays are the work of Boise Civic Trust.

Liability

The site is provided as-is. The Trust corrects errors when it finds them or when you report them, and the record shows its corrections.
